TESTIMONIES
I am loving these testimonies, Highland! As the Lord is establishing His plans before our eyes, He’s at work presently within us, Highland! We are strengthening, humbled before His greatness, submissive to and sharing within His holy-nature. The testimony that is baptism is one that resounds throughout heaven and earth! Oh, the heavens rejoice when even one repents, submitting to Jesus. May we continue to see this passage from Romans come to life in us, as His people: “May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God” (Romans 15:5–6).

PLANS FOR SUNDAY MORNING
A breakfast sandwich and a hot cup of coffee await you each Sunday morning, at 9am. Come and connect at Coffee & Conversation! We spend time together in worship and in the Word of God.
Robert Singleton’s leading our Men’s Study each Sunday morning, 9am, in the educational building of Highland. Very applicable look at Scripture, and it’s discussive! All men are welcome to attend.
This Sunday, testimonies continue, as we continue to ‘glorify our Lord and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with a united mind and voice’ (Romans 15). The Firehouse Gathering (our church service) will be held at 10am – 3402 6th Ave.
It is evident through these testimonies and the unfolding of the Lord’s plans before our eyes that He is moving amongst us, Highland. Let us continue to build up one another, seeking the pleasure of our neighbor, according to what is holy and honorable in the sight of our Lord. Here is the passage that we are allowing our hearts to marinate within right now:
“Now we who are strong have an obligation to bear the weaknesses of those without strength, and not to please ourselves. Each one of us must please his neighbor for his good, to build him up. For even the Messiah did not please Himself. On the contrary, as it is written, ‘The insults of those who insult You have fallen on Me.’ For whatever was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that we may have hope through endurance and through the encouragement from the Scriptures. Now may the God who gives endurance and encouragement allow you to live in harmony with one another, according to the command of Christ Jesus, so that you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with a united mind and voice” (Romans 15:1-6).
See you Sunday!
