stand with the persecuted church
A Live & Interactive Zoom Event
Highland, this Saturday morning we have the opportunity to go on a round-the-world trip and see how God is on the move in some of the hardest places on earth. This 90 minute, interactive Zoom call will feature the testimonies of persecuted believers in Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Asia and elsewhere, telling powerful stories of how people are coming to know Jesus even when their lives, families, and careers are at risk. We'll end the time praying live with some of the underground church leaders we've come to know in Myanmar. We particularly recommend this event to youth and teenagers who'd like to get an expanded vision of what God is doing around the world!
Sign up to lift up the name of Jesus in your life.

Creating a community of discipleship
Throughout this break, I want to charge us all to gather together with the purposes of praying together, studying together – that our love may abound for one another! Perhaps some of you could make a plan to do lunch together on Sunday afternoons. Families with young children, meet at our playground and pray together while the children play. Even still, perhaps some of us consider grabbing our coffee from the Highland Cafe’ once a week, meeting and ministering to those who come. Consider facilitating a book study this summer, independent of the Sunday school Sessions. Reach out to me to discuss. Or, what are your ideas? We must be intentional about growing in Christ together; it will not happen automatically. We must foster a community of discipleship, Highland.
our series through matthew
Sunday, we continue through the Gospel of Matthew. It is my hope to cover what Jesus says about Fasting, Treasure & Worry. Taking our time to hover a magnifying glass over these matters will result in our maturity, Highland. Take the time to glance over our text for this upcoming Sunday; it’s Matthew 6:16-34. To listen to prior sermons, check out our audio page.
