Bearing His Name Through Our Days.

Highland,

In this devotion, I hope to use a familiar passage to offer us some instruction as to how to conduct ourselves though our nation’s political climate and social tensions. I reflect on a passage from Exodus 20, which I preached through in November of last year, just before our nation’s election. It seemed fitting to, yet again, allow this passage to shed some light onto how we should conduct ourselves as people who bear the name of our Lord.

PASSAGES

“You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain” (Exodus 20:7, NASB).

“Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father” (Colossians 3:17, NASB).

Walk in the Light,

Rob
